Livingston County’s Defender and Conflict Offices have the important responsibility of providing representation in criminal, family, and surrogate court.

For many years, the County used a software system called PDCMS to manage cases. The system posed numerous challenges to staff and administrators - including the inability to access cases from outside the building - and couldn’t provide optics into critical aspects of how the office operated.
